Stop at Telouet Kasbah — the crumbling palace of Pasha Glaoui, its painted cedarwood ceilings dissolving back into the earth. Visit Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO) — backdrop for Gladiator, Game of Thrones and Lawrence of Arabia. Continue through Ouarzazate, the Rose Valley and Skoura palm oasis to the Dades Valley.
