8-Day Sahara and Imperial Cities Tour from Fez

⏱ 8 Days Β· 7 NightsπŸš— Private TourπŸ“ Fez β†’ MarrakechπŸ“… Available Year-round

Tour Overview

This eight-day route runs the full length of the classic Morocco circuit from Fez: imperial city, Roman ruins, Middle Atlas cedar forest, Sahara dunes, southern kasbah valleys, and the High Atlas, ending in Marrakech. It covers the same ground as shorter Fez-to-Marrakech desert tours but with an extra day built in around Merzouga and the Dades and Todra valleys, enough time to see the south properly rather than simply pass through it.

Tour Highlights

  • βœ“Fez el-Bali, the largest car-free urban medina in the world
  • βœ“Volubilis Roman ruins and the Middle Atlas cedar forest
  • βœ“A night in a luxury desert camp among the dunes of Erg Chebbi, Merzouga
  • βœ“Todra Gorge, 300-metre canyon walls carved by the Todra River
  • βœ“Dades Valley and the Rose Valley's Damascene rose gardens
  • βœ“Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified ksar used in dozens of films
  • βœ“Crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass
  • βœ“Arrival in Marrakech with time to explore the medina and Jemaa el-Fna
