Which tour from Casablanca is right for you?

Choose by how many days you have. Five to six days is enough to cross the country once, Casablanca to Marrakech, seeing Fez and one night in the Sahara. Seven to nine days adds a second desert night and slower stops through the Atlas gorges. 5–6 days: Casablanca to Marrakech, the essential crossing

The shortest way to see the headline sights. You travel Casablanca → Rabat → Fez → Merzouga (one night in the dunes) → Dades & Todra gorges → Ait Benhaddou → Marrakech, ending near Marrakech Menara Airport for the flight home. Best for a first visit with limited time. 5-day via Fez & Sahara, 6-day Casablanca to Marrakech, or the imperial-cities focused 6-day Casablanca to Fez.

7–9 days: the desert at a comfortable pace

The same north-to-south spine with two nights in the Sahara, more time in the Fez medina, and unhurried stops at Volubilis, the cedar forests, and the Skoura palm groves. The classic route from Casablanca

Most Casablanca itineraries follow the same arc south and east: a brief stop at the Hassan II Mosque, then Rabat and the Roman ruins of Volubilis, two or three days in the Fez medina and the Middle Atlas, over the mountains to Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes, back west through the Todra and Dades gorges and the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, a stop at Ait Benhaddou, and over the Tizi n'Tichka pass into Marrakech. Longer tours add Chefchaouen at the start and the coast at the end.

When is the best time to visit?

March to May and September to November are ideal: warm days, cool desert nights, and comfortable walking in the medinas. June to August is hot inland and in the Sahara (40 °C and above by day), though desert camps stay bearable after sunset. December to February brings crisp, clear days, cold desert nights, and occasional snow on the Atlas passes, still a good time to travel with warm layers.
